The Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Edmonton Region (CHBA – Edmonton Region)
is an association of residential construction professionals who work together to make
their industry stronger.

The CHBA – Edmonton Region is affiliated with the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Alberta as
well as the Canadian Home Builders’ Association. Membership in the CHBA – Edmonton Region includes
membership in both these organizations


The Alberta New Home Warranty Program – www.anhwp.com


The Program offers deposit protection, builder performance protection, structural integrity
and first year warranty protection to homebuyers as well as mediation, conciliation and arbitration procedures.

In addition to providing warranty services, The Alberta New Home Warranty Program also
initiates programs to enhance performance and build technical expertise amongst builders.

It also acts as a resource to homebuyers, providing relevant information relating to the
purchase and maintenance of a new home or condominium.

The program identifies those renovation contractors who have agreed to CHBA – Edmonton
Region’s code of ethics, as well as a renovation-specific code of conduct, they provide
warranties, understand the value of customer service, and continually educate themselves
regarding current trends, materials and regulations.

Meridian Master Builders Inc. is a Moisture ® Builder. Which means that we have a
trained Moisture Control Technician (MCT) on staff who applies current moisture management
techniques. Here at Meridian we understand the movement of moisture and ensures your new

avoid the consequences of unwanted moisture and effectively manage moisture.

The “PHBIA accredited Master Home Builder ®” is a program that encompasses both
experience and education leading to certification. It is designed to have practical
relevance and address current issues faced by the home construction and land development
industry.

The certification mark is an excellent choice for career development and personal growth.
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Alberta (“CHBA – Alberta”) acknowledges the
courses and The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (“ANHWP”) has a requirement for
continuing education in setting client rates.

This program is designed for senior company executives or those with an equity
investment in the Alberta residential new home construction industry.

Businesses that earn BBB accredited business status contractually agree and adhere to the organization’s high standards of ethical business behavior. BBB provides objective advice, free business Reliability Reports and charity Wise Giving Reports, and educational information on topics affecting marketplace trust. To further promote trust, BBB also offers complaint and dispute resolution support for consumers and businesses when there is difference in viewpoints.

The goal of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is to help homeowners find the right professional partner to do their remodeling.
